GM says that the feature will soon be available in a wide range of its Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, but the system will debut in the Chevrolet Volt. It isn’t clear whether the Powermat will be a factory or dealer-installed option, however.
GM has not announced pricing for the new feature.
