Video - Nokia E6 official: a 326ppi portrait QWERTY handset optimized for business

A VGA resolution on a 2.46-inch display equals 326ppi. Talk about pixel density! Nokia's Symbian "Anna" update has found itself a delightful little carrier to market in the new E6. This business-centric device touts awesome battery life, with up to a month of standby time, features both a touchscreen and a portrait QWERTY keyboard, and will be targetting E71 / E72 upgraders, BlackBerry lovers and, evidently, pixel density enthusiasts. Preview of Nokia C6-01 - Soon to be released!

    Nokia has started shipping the C6-01 worldwide and you will soon be seeing this in retail stores in Pakistan (within a month or at the maximum two would be my guess). So I thought we can review it for all those of you who don't want to dish out the Rs. 50,000/- it costs to get an N8 but still want an upgrade in your symbian experience. This smartphone comes with a 5 MP camera with LED flash and auto focus. It has a full QWERTY landscape slider keyboard. It has a TFT resistive touchscreen, 16M colors with the Size of 360 x 640 pixels, 3.2 inches. It has a Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and an Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. It runs on Symbian's latest iteration Symbian ^3 and will be a delight for most of the Nokia up graders.

Preview of Nokia E5!

The Nokia E5 is an indirect successor to Nokia E71. An E71 for the masses, if you will. It runs on symbian and has a large 5 MP camera with WiFi and full QWERTY keyboard. This will seal the deal for many while others will not consider this device at all. Allow me to explain. I say this because of the design, unlike the sleek elegance of the E71 or even E63, this phone has a somewhat funkier look in its design and will not appeal to many such as business users, they would most likely want to wait for the Eseries version with a more business look or switch to a much more contemporary Blackberry. As for others its a slam dunk. I would like to admit that I stand in the latter but that is only because I fall in the younger demographic. As for the rest, the phone has selected metal accents which give it a slightly more expensive feel overall. One other thing i would highlight here is the phenomenal 13 hours of talk time that the company boasts for this device which would really be a big plus for the device.
At the price of Rs. 21,000/- this is a good replacement for your E71 especially because it runs an upgraded version of symbian!
